Last week I walked on fire. I actually WALKED on FIRE!!!!! I walked the entire length one of those strips of burning coals! And felt no fear at all when doing it.
Fear only exists when we bring the past into the future. There’s no fear in the now. There’s no room for it. The antidote to fear is action.
I approached those burning coals (1,000 degrees F/535 degrees C) with fear in my mind, yes, I must confess. But when I decided to take the first step and just focused on crossing the thing, I felt no fear. My mind was focused on reaching the other side, not on how fearful I felt. And it worked! I walked on fire and felt no pain and no fear. And so did the other 8,000 people attending the seminar.
I had prepared myself to walk on fire. I knew how I had to do it. The only thing stopping me was my fear. Until I decided to conquer it
The antidote against fear is always action. Act then, and don’t let fear stop you from reaching your goals.
Enjoy life… all of it, J.
