Interviewing… Mileidys Horisberger

In this interview, Mileidys Horisberger speaks about her experience with Optimism Coaching©.

Mileidys is a coach and therapist. Having worked for the last few years as the Head of the Occupational Systemic Therapies for the Mental Clinical Hospital in Bern, she moved last month to Spain, where she works directly with her clients.

How did you discover Optimism Coaching© and what does it mean to you?

I discovered Optimism Coaching from her creator, Jessica Lockhart. It means a lot to me because it leads to the renewal of that internal strength that is part of our nature, even more so in childhood; that internal power that moves us and helps us move others.

What do you think is the most important contribution offered by Optimism Coaching©?

It helps you boost your energy and create a chain of the positive and beautiful even in the hardest and most difficult of circumstances. If your energy and strength are diminished due to hard times, Optimism Coaching helps you recover and renew them.

Which of the tools included in Optimism Coaching© do you find most useful and why?

My favorite one is the Tree of Happiness! It’s a symbol of the people who brought me joy in the different situations in my life.

Did Optimism Coaching© help you as a person?

Yes. I am quite a happy and talkative person who usually meets others with whom to share those emotions easily. Optimism Coaching strengthened me even more by endowing me with the tools that help me reach each person in a unique, personal way.

What will your role be at the 1st Global Optimism Summit?

I will direct and facilitate the workshops that are offered.

How do you thing the 1st Global Optimism Summit can help those who attend it?

I think that both, Optimism Coaching and Humanology will help those who open themselves to them (not just at the Summit; there are quite a few courses available online) in many different ways. Investing on personal development and growth has no price.

Why would you recommend the 1st Global Optimism Summit to possible participants?

Because they will all have a new and interesting life experience that will help them and everybody else they choose to share it with. Having it only once a year, it shouldn’t be missed.

How important is Humanology™ for you?

To me, it is the basic pillar upon which stand a human being’s knowledge, development and growth. Many sentences inspire me in this topic; there is one that I’d like to share with you: ‘I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.” Jimmy Dean
