Small steps are easier to take than bigger ones. That’s why I recommend you start small on your way to optimism and happiness and then gradually increase your steps.
One way to feel immediately better and more powerful is to start your day with an Optimist Mantra. Choose one promising, happy thought for the day while having breakfast and repeat it to yourself out loud, in writing, in your mind… all day long, as often as you can. Turn that one daily mantra into your fun game for the day.
Repeat the mantra as often as you can and let it work its magic.
Your optimist mantra can deal with any subject that has to do directly with you. Word it in the present tense and make it positive and short (it’s easier to remember.)
